About Cornerstone
As a new church in Fort Walton Beach, we are dedicated to establishing a strong Biblical foundation — a place where community is built, fellowship is enjoyed, worship is heartfelt, and missions are pursued for the good of our area.
Our name comes from Matthew 21:42, Mark 12:10, Luke 20:17, Acts 4:11 and Ephesians 2:20 — Christ as the cornerstone.
Meet our pastor
Rev. Charles Cummings
Pastor
Charles grew up in Fort Walton Beach and graduated from Fort Walton Beach High School, Wofford College, and Asbury Theological Seminary. After being ordained he served as Associate Pastor at Auburn United Methodist Church for nearly three decades. In July 2024 he was approved as an Elder in the Global Methodist Church and became the first pastor of Cornerstone.
